B. Essential Tools & Prep

C. The Golden Rules of Measuring

1. Sedans & Coupes

Bumpers are the tricky part. Do not just measure straight across. Measure from wheel well to wheel well, following the entire curvature of the nose or tail. For the hood, measure from the base of the windshield to the very front edge.

2. SUVs & Trucks

Height is a major factor here. Measure doors from the rocker panel (bottom) all the way to the roofline. For trucks, decide early if you are wrapping the inside of the bed.
